Job Summary


The Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the company by handling mid-level accounting tasks maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and experience in handling daily accounting functions while also contributing to the month-end close process and financial analysis.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Management

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles ensuring timely processing and follow-ups.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external use.

  • Support senior accountants in preparing for audits and tax filing requirements.

Quality Control

  • Ensure proper documentation and accurate data entry for all financial transactions.

  • Perform account reconciliations and identify discrepancies for resolution.

  • Maintain consistency and accuracy in financial processes in compliance with accounting standards.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare periodic financial reports (weekly monthly) to aid decision-making.

  • Assist in journal entries accruals and the monthly closing process.

  • Support budget tracking and financial forecasting efforts.

Communication and Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure completeness of financial data.

  • Collaborate with external parties including auditors vendors and tax consultants as needed.

  • Interpret contractual financial clauses and highlight key issues to senior accountants.



Requirements


  • Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Professional command of English is required.
