A high-achieving and academically ambitious 1118 secondary school in Oxford is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their outstanding Science Department from January 2026. The school has 1450 pupils on roll including a Sixth Form of 320 and consistently ranks among the top 10% nationally for progress and attainment. About the Role
This full-time permanent position offers the opportunity to teach Science across KS3KS5 specialising in Biology Chemistry or Physics according to expertise. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic department that values experimentation curiosity and scientific literacy. You will design and deliver engaging lessons that foster analytical thinking teamwork and a love of discovery.
The Science Faculty occupies a modern building with nine fully equipped laboratories two preparation rooms and access to digital data-loggers and simulation software. Teachers are supported by experienced lab technicians and benefit from weekly collaborative planning sessions.

Experience and Qualifications
QTS/PGCE and degree in a Science discipline
Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level desirable
Excellent communication and practical teaching skills
