The Department
Science is one of the schools flagship faculties. The department occupies a purpose-built science block with ten fully equipped laboratories and a prep room. Lessons integrate practical investigation with data analysis and critical thinking.
Teachers are encouraged to design lessons that connect scientific understanding to real-world issues such as sustainability genetics and medicine. Students participate in local STEM fairs Olympiads and conservation projects while A-Level Biology continues to achieve impressive university progression.
The Role
- Teach Biology across KS3KS5.
- Deliver practical lessons that develop curiosity and experimentation.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum.
- Engage with enrichment opportunities including fieldwork and STEM initiatives.
About You
- QTS or equivalent qualification in Biology or a related subject.
- Strong understanding of the science curriculum and exam specifications.
