Job Summary
A permanent full-time Design & Technology Teacher is sought by an Outstanding-rated School in Harrow starting January 2026. This is a superb role in an innovative department with state-of-the-art facilities; the school is specifically seeking a specialist in either Food Textiles Resistant Materials or Product Design.

Responsibilities
- The Design & Technology Teacher will deliver rigorous practical and theoretical tuition across Key Stages 3 4 (GCSE) and 5 (A-Level).
- The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and promoting advanced skills in their area of specialism (Food Textiles Resistant Materials or Product Design).
- They must contribute to the maintenance of equipment and safety programmes relevant to their specialism.
- The Design & Technology Teacher is expected to contribute to consistent high academic outcomes and participate proactively in curriculum planning.
Requirements
- Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has the right to work in the UK.
- Holds a Degree or has experience teaching Design & Technology with a specialism in Food Textiles Resistant Materials or Product Design.
