Job Summary
Imagine joining an Independent School in Birmingham where the curriculum is rich the classrooms are resource-rich and the Year 4 cohort are curious and eager. We are seeking a forward-thinking Year 4 Teacher to start in January 2026. As the Year 4 Teacher you will be part of a small collegiate team invited to pre-term planning before January 2026 attend a supportive induction in January 2026 and lead learning from January 2026.
A day in the life of the Year 4 Teacher (what youll lead)
Mornings: the Year 4 Teacher leads maths fluency sessions and guided reading; the Year 4 Teacher uses formative assessment to shape next steps. Afternoons: the Year 4 Teacher teaches knowledge-rich history or science sequences using practical tasks and projects. Each week the Year 4 Teacher runs interventions and meets with phase leaders to review progress activities which begin in planning meetings ahead of January 2026 and continue after January 2026.
