Job Summary

Shift Schedule: 1st Shift 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Hourly fee: $17 - $19

Activities and Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment and use safe work habits.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic machinery.
  • Recognize set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
  • Examine work pieces for defects to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors.
  • Mark or tag material with proper job number piece mark and other identifying marks as required.
  • Position and secure workpieces.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
  • Stop the line in case of an emergency
Position Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Able to lift and carry 25-50 lbs.
  • Able to push and pull 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to work proficiently with hands and wrists and be able to grasps objects.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate machinery and be able to operate foot controls on equipment.

  • Flexibility to work shifts if required
