Job Summary

Shift Schedule: 1st Shift 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Hourly fee: $17 - $19

Activities and Responsibilities

Operate equipment and use safe work habits.
Operate manual or semi-automatic machinery.
Recognize set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
Examine work pieces for defects to ensure conformance with specifications.
Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors.
Mark or tag material with proper job number piece mark and other identifying marks as required.
Position and secure workpieces.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
Stop the line in case of an emergency

Position Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Able to lift and carry 25-50 lbs.
Able to push and pull 100 lbs.
Must be able to work proficiently with hands and wrists and be able to grasps objects.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to operate machinery and be able to operate foot controls on equipment.
