Job Title: Quality Lab Technician
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Industry
Duration: 24 Months (Possible Extension)
Location: Minneapolis MN 55432
Shift: 1st Shift
Position Summary:
Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Technician III to join the Returned Product Analysis Intake Lab. This role involves receiving cleaning and documenting returned medical devices to support patient safety regulatory compliance and product quality improvements. Ideal for someone who values structure precision and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive inspect and document returned implantable medical devices (pacemakers defibrillators leads).
- Perform cleaning and decontamination of devices in a BSL-2 laboratory following safety and quality standards.
- Record and maintain accurate device and case information in electronic systems.
- Identify and escalate potential product complaints to the quality team.
- Prepare and package devices for shipment to manufacturing and analysis partners.
- Maintain lab equipment cleanliness and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with Analysis teams to ensure consistency and data accuracy.
Must Have:
- Comfortable with repetitive process-based tasks and maintaining steady workflow.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to escalate issues effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Excel or Google Sheets.
- Clear and structured written and verbal communication.
- Efficiency-driven and proactive in improving workflows.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant lab or production experience.
- Experience in medical device lab or regulated environments preferred.
- Comfortable working in BSL-2 conditions with PPE.
- Team-oriented reliable and documentation-focused.
Nice To Have:
- 1 3 years experience in the medical device industry.
- Familiarity with decontamination/sterilization or FDA quality system regulations.
