Scientific Strategic Content Creator Medical Communications - Pharma (Hybrid - Lawrenceville NJ)
We are seeking a Scientific Strategic Content Creator for a global Pharma company. This role is responsible for proactively planning and developing strategic scientific content to support Medical Affairs. Utilizing deep scientific expertise in relevant therapeutic areas this role shapes and disseminates credible scientific information to benefit both the business and healthcare partners. The individual will develop and produce field medical resources including slide decks and FAQs to facilitate impactful scientific exchange and will be embedded within the larger Medical Affairs team.
This is a 40-hour per week 12 month contract (extensions possible) 50% onsite role at clients office in Lawrenceville NJ.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced scientific and business expertise in disease state management emerging therapies and the competitive landscape to inform content strategy within therapeutic areas.
- Strategically collaborate with internal and cross-functional partners to plan develop create and deliver scientific content that aligns with Medical Affairs objectives and meets healthcare provider needs.
- Monitor the medical and regulatory environment integrating scientific insights and compliance requirements to influence brand and disease strategies.
- Lead and coordinate the development review and maintenance of scientifically rigorous communication materials (e.g. slide decks Q&A documents Managed Market materials) for global and US audiences supporting an omnichannel approach across digital and field medical platforms where applicable.
- Review external resources to ensure the appropriate use of client products including evaluating evidence-based guidelines and relevant medical literature.
- Identify and analyze medical insight trends to update or create new scientific materials as needed.
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in clinical practice and/or pharmaceutical industry roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in evaluating scientific literature and synthesizing findings.
- Skilled writer and creator of scientific materials (including slides scientific narratives and responses).
- Ability to apply regulatory (FDA EMA) legal and compliance considerations to Medical Affairs and drug information activities.
- Experience developing digital content or strategy highly preferred
- Experience with promotional and medical review processes preferred.
- Familiarity with payer/HEOR issues preferred
- Advanced scientific degree required (PharmD preferred; MD PhD MPharm etc).
