Job Summary:

The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for supporting and enhancing existing software applications within the Cotiviti product suite. The role requires collaboration with senior developers US and India-based teams business owners and project management to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and enhance high-quality software modules within the Cotiviti product suite.
Design develop and maintain robust Java-based backend services and APIs.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers and frontend developers to integrate UI components with backend logic.
Optimize application performance and scalability across the full stack.
Analyze and resolve software-related issues from internal or external customers.
Document specifications designs features and operations of applications prior to production rollout.
Ensure adherence to technology standards during development.
Explore innovative solutions to improve processes and system efficiency.
Continuously update knowledge on new technologies integrated into the Cotiviti product suite.
Execute all phases of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle with a focus on continuous improvement.
Lead technical discussions conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Information Technology or Information Systems.
4 years of relevant experience in software development.
5 years of professional experience in Java.
Strong proficiency in Spring Boot applications.
Hands-on experience with messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ Apache Kafka or similar.
Experience with UI technologies including Angular and TypeScript.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
