Our client is a leading creative venture studio and talent incubator investing in the next generation of African creators from music and fashion to art film and culture. They build brands fund creative ideas and produce experiences that connect Africas youth to the world. Their mission is simple: empower creators amplify culture and create new markets for African creativity.
The Head of Creative Direction will lead the clients entire creative vision from brand identity to campaign storytelling artist visuals live experiences and content direction. This is a leadership role that blends vision design storytelling and culture.
Define and oversee the creative identity ensuring visual and narrative consistency across all touchpoints.
Lead creative development for talent campaigns brand launches live events and partnerships.
Supervise internal creative team (art directors designers photographers stylists editors).
Collaborate with Marketing and Talent leads to align storytelling with strategy.
Develop creative concepts for campaign videos visual content and brand collaborations.
Curate the digital aesthetic from social media feed to website and merch visuals.
Approve creative briefs storyboards and production treatments for all key projects.
Guide visual branding for all talents and ensure each creators aesthetic is distinct yet connected.
Stay ahead of trends in fashion design culture and technology to keep the brand fresh and relevant.
Manage creative budgets and timelines to deliver excellence under pressure.
58 years experience in creative direction brand design or content production (agency label or creative studio).
Strong creative portfolio showing visual storytelling campaign design and brand building.
Deep understanding of African pop culture streetwear music and digital trends.
Experience managing creative teams and external collaborators.
Proficiency with creative tools (Adobe Suite Figma or equivalent).
Excellent communication and presentation skills ability to sell ideas to partners and investors.
Proven ability to deliver work thats bold culturally relevant and commercially sound.
Strong industry knowledge and connections.
