FACULTY POSITION: UROLOGIC RECONSTRUCTION /PELVIC SURGERY

The Division of Urology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine seeks a BC/BE urologist interested in Urologic Reconstruction and Pelvic Surgery (URPS). Interest in neuro-urology would also be helpful. The mix of responsibilities reconstruction female urology and neuro-urology could be developed based on the applicant background and professional interest. Applicants should be qualified to be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Responsibilities will include clinical care of urology patients education of students and residents and participation in research programs. Practice opportunities are available at the University of Maryland Medical Center University of Maryland Mid-town Campus Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System (Baltimore) and other system locations to be determined. Opportunities for basic and clinical research are available for interested candidates.
Preference will be given to candidates with fellowship training or previous experience in URPS or Genitourinary reconstructive surgery (GURS). Salary Range: $312805 - $590430
The referenced salary range reflects base pay which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not include all components of the DEPARTMENTAL faculty compensation program or pay from participation in DEPARTMENTAL variable compensation programs. Therefore the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary range stated herein. For more information please contact the hiring department.
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicines good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidates geographic location skills work experience internal equity market conditions education/training and other factors as reasonably determined by the University.
