Job Summary
Department: CVOR Tech*Certifications Required: BLS CST or NCCT ND state lic*- # of Suites: 12 ORs 1 Endo Suite 1 Cysto Suite 2 CVOR Suites- Common Cases: ION robotic cases Open hearts (CABG Valve aneuryms) thoracotomies VATS Convergent AAA carotids ECMO Impella 5.5 Davinci XI Robot Stryker towers- Experience or Must have skills: MUST have open heart experience & must be willing to cross train into other specialties if CV volumes are low. Staff must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume- Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift Does the charge nurse take an assignment: Charge nurse - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling): 0645-1515; 0900-1730;(weekend only). CV team lead will make schedule- Weeknight/Call Requirements: 3-4 times per weekWeekend/Call Requirements: Every other to every third Fri at 1515 to Mon at 0645- Holiday/Call Requirements: Rotating holidays- must be willing to work holidays- What is call response time: 15 minutes
