What the role will involve

Manage the delivery of IT infrastructure and support services across Water Corporation.
Provide technical expertise and services across the product backlog to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Monitor review and improve the performance and quality of IT infrastructure services.
Support the planning and future direction of infrastructure in partnership with architecture teams.
Co-ordinate the management of Data Centres and ensure risks are mitigated relating to continuity security and compliance.
Engage with stakeholders and service providers to ensure IT services are delivered effectively.
Evaluate and escalate high-risk backlog items with clear analysis and recommendations.
Drive continuous improvement customer-focused service delivery and operational excellence.

Key skills and experience

A degree in a relevant technology discipline (e.g. Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
Substantial experience in IT infrastructure and cloud delivery.
Extensive experience in IT administration and coordination including vendorengagementsupporting successful project delivery.
Broad technical knowledge across IT infrastructure and applications.
Proven analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
A proactive forward-thinking approach with strong accountability and results focus.
