Job Summary
DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bridge Technician with a great attitude and strong ethics. He or she will be responsible for performing the overall maintenance of the bridge maintenance project assigned.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- May operate various forms of heavy highway equipment.
- Concrete spill repair.
- Railing repairs.
- Joint repairs.
- Cleaning and painting steel.
- Utilize Equipment to clean and grades ditches drainage structures highway road shoulders and slopes.
- Repair work including but not limited to repair of fences sign repair litter debris removal and other bridge maintenance activities to include emergency response.
- Use all equipment safely.
- Advanced MOT training.
Qualifications :
Education:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Class A or B cdl is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age older.
- Must have at least one year of experience on the roadway.
- Must have a valid drivers license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
- Must be able to drag 50lbs for 150 feet.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
- Must be able to drive standard shift vehicles.
- Must have the ability to obtain ATSSA certification in the installation of traffic control.
- Bridge maintenance highway maintenance or construction skills are preferred.
- Boating experience is preferred.

- Pay rate: $16.00/hourly
- Shift: Monday through Thursday 6am-4:30pm with availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
