Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Associate Director to lead training initiatives across our Private Markets operations teams in North America. This role is pivotal in shaping the onboarding upskilling and continuous development of staff supporting Private Equity and Private Debt fund administration.  

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in fund administration and training along with strong instructional design skills and a collaborative mindset to drive operational excellence across our Canadian and US offices. A thorough understanding of the Private Equity or Private Debt market is essential. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop bespoke content for complex fund structures capital transactions and investor allocations. 
  • Design and execute training on system navigation transaction processing and reporting workflows.  
  • Maintain and evolve competency matrices for Private Markets roles mapping skills progression from onboarding through advanced levels. 
  • Track training effectiveness through assessments feedback loops and performance metrics. 
  • Design and deliver training programmes tailored towards Private Markets operations. 
  • Partner with business leads to identify training needs and align high quality content with operational requirements.
  • Contribute to risk reduction and readiness for new business by delivering targeted training solutions.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related discipline is essential. Professional certifications such as CPA ACCA or equivalent are desired. A qualification in Learning & Development is advantageous. 
  • Significant years of experience in fund administration with a strong focus on Private Markets
  • Proficiency in Investran LIVE is required including hands-on experience with fund accounting investor allocations and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Yardi and or Sentry would be an additional advantage. 
  • Experience with instructional design and digital learning platforms is a plus.
