Job Summary
This driver is responsible for completing local deliveries and pick-ups within Regina and the surrounding area in a timely manner. Pre-trips and post-trips of vehicle. A normal work week will be Monday to Friday however some flexibility in availability will occasionally be required.
Qualifications :
- Valid Class 5 license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of pick-up & delivery experience in an urban environment
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry up to 50lbs regularly throughout the workday
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable and dependable with an excellent attendance record
- Strong knowledge of Regina and surrounding areas including optimal routes and traffic patterns
- Proficiency in using GPS and route planning software
- TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certification
- Forklift operation experience and certification
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Basic computer skills for data entry and digital record-keeping
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check drivers abstract and 2 work-related references
