Job Summary
AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT with POSSIBLE On THE SPOT JOB OFFERS! for Full -Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for multiple Manhattan residences.
PAY RATE: $20 - $20.96 per hour depending on residence placement and driving status. In addition this position comes with a very comprehensive Benefit package which includes FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE! See below for additional Benefit information.
DATE & TIME: TUESDAY OCTOBER 28th 2025 from 10AM-1PM
LOCATION: Recruiter will provide Hiring Event specific address for qualified candidates.
POSITION TO BE FILLED:
40HR Evening shift: 2pm-10pm and 3pm-11pm
Drivers license Required for Upper Manhattan positions... Not required for Lower Manhattan positions!
Weekend availability Required for most positions!

- The oversight of all safety and health considerations
- Promoting skill development interests and hobbies
- Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
- Other personalized responsibilities including cooking cleaning hygiene etc.
Qualifications :
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
- Willingness to support peoples preferences for community activities work leisure activities the exercise of their rights various settings.
- Ability to use a computer for data entry.
- High school education/GED highly preferred.
