Trouble-shooting machine repair and preventative maintenance of automated woodworking machinery including but not limited to CNC saws conveyors etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Working electrical knowledge and trouble-shooting skills PLC programming and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills needed.
- Material handling (pushing/lifting) up to 50 lbs.
- Problem solving skills; ability to conduct root cause analysis in order to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment throughout the facility.
- Strong communication skills as well as the ability to successfully work in a team environment with a positive attitude.
- Perform all other duties as may be assigned at managements discretion.

- Problem Solving: Able to solve problems using problem solving skills.
- Time Management: Able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Innovator: Ability to think of new and creative ways to resolve problems.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This is a Mid Shift position and the approximate start time is 3:30PM. The shift schedule is a 4 shift 10-hour schedule Monday through Thursday with overtime on Friday.
- Technical Degree preferred; however non-degreed candidates with good work tenure and 2-3 years of industrial maintenance experience will be considered.
Qualifications :
- Mechanical and Electrical work experience.
- Manufacturing Maintenance experience required.
- Safety as a number on priority
- Strong English communication skills verbal written & presentation listening
- Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems with general knowledge of electrical VFD and PLC systems.
- Understanding of spare part inventory process
- Ability to work independently.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Technical school a plus.
- 2 years experience working as a maintenance technician Preferred.
- Strong mechanical electrical and potentially hydraulic or pneumatic knowledge. Experience with various hand and power tools.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
- Ability to stand for extended periods lift heavy objects and work in various physical positions.
- Ability to follow procedures maintain accurate records and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members supervisors and potentially vendors.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team to accomplish maintenance goals.
- Understanding of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to Follow Instructions: Adhering to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
- Basic Computer Skills: For record-keeping and communication purposes.
- must be able to use trade math with drawings & use precision measuring instruments.
- Office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS) involving technical skills knowledge preferred.
- Working knowledge of pneumatic hydraulic electrical solid state and PLC systems.
- Experience with PLC control software preferred
- Understanding of spare part inventory process preferred
- Ability to work independently.
- Reading electrical and pneumatic prints and diagrams
