Job Summary
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal East Quebec. Under the supervision of the supervisor as a crane operator you will actively participate in key operations in a dynamic environment by handling identifying and preparing ferrous and non-ferrous materials while playing an essential role in sorting inventorying and maintaining equipment.
What youre responsible for:
- Safely operating a crane to lift move and position metal materials within the facility
- Lifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples and safely placing them in designated areas or processing equipment
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers ensuring proper weight distribution and load security
- Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members supervisors and other personnel
- Conducting pre and post inspections of the crane including overall crane maintenance
- Operating the following heavy equipment: Crane Shear Loader
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You hold a heavy equipment operators license;
- You have a valid Class 5 drivers license;
- You have at least one year of experience driving and operating heavy vehicles;
- You are conscientious about health and safety;
- You are good at managing priorities;
- You have good communication skills;
- You work well in a team;
- You are bilingual (an asset).
