Job Summary

This position will support the Data Strategy Team in the Global Data Office.   The role will involve participation in projects to define and communicate Product Data & AI strategy as well as communications and market insights. 

Responsibilities include: 

Data Strategy Projects

  • Participate in strategy projects and lead workstreams

  • Structure and solve business problems collaborating with internal stakeholders to make recommendations

  • Develop rigorous fact-based quantitative analysis to support recommendations

  • Monitor and report on project progress identifying and addressing any issues or risks.

Market Insights and Analysis

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends opportunities and challenges related to data strategy and AI

  • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Reporting and Deliverables

  • Produce key project deliverables such as presentation materials and reports

  • Draft product stories case studies market updates and key messages for internal communications - supporting Product Marketing and Communications teams as required.

 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)
  • Experience in strategy development or consulting
  • Experience of working with cross-functional teams including product marketing and communications
  • Passion for payments and emerging technologies especially AI.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and analytics
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and data analytics tools and software
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong project management and organization with the ability to independently lead workstreams

Additional Information :

Work Authorization: Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 123000.00 to 173950.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
