Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Civil Engineer to support our aviation projects with advanced civil engineering expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing managing and executing tasks for aviation infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with FAA DoD and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop contract documents including plans specifications and quantities/estimates.
Organize and lead project meetings to ensure clear communication among stakeholders.
Maintain and update department quality control and organizational standards.
Analyze survey reports maps drawings blueprints aerial photography and geologic/topographic data for project planning.
Perform engineering design computations to support aviation projects.
Coordinate and manage project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
4-8 years of experience in civil design preferably in aviation projects.
Proven task management experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation.
Expertise in construction cost estimating and technical specification writing.
Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Supervisory experience in managing project tasks.
Road and highway design experience.
In-depth knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars Engineering Briefs and Orders.
Familiarity with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria.
Working knowledge of project management including schedules and budgets.
