Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate service-driven Advocate Counselor to provide remote support and guidance to employees customers and internal stakeholders. The Advocate Counselor will handle inquiries resolve concerns and offer professional assistance while promoting DIVIETOs mission of integrity accountability and care.
This role requires excellent communication skills emotional intelligence problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Provide empathetic support and guidance to employees or clients via email phone and messaging platforms.
Act as a trusted advocate for individuals seeking help with workplace personal or service-related concerns.
Document interactions with accuracy and maintain confidential case records.
Identify issues and escalate sensitive cases to HR or leadership teams when necessary.
Help resolve conflicts complaints or grievances with professionalism and discretion.
Support company policies compliance and safety protocols.
Conduct virtual follow-up sessions to ensure successful resolution of client needs.
Participate in team meetings and continuous professional development training.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality ethics and professionalism at all times.
Required Qualifications
Must currently reside in the United States
Must possess valid U.S. work authorization (U.S. Citizen Green Card EAD or Work Visa)
High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelors degree preferred
1 years of experience in counseling HR customer support social services case management or a related role
Strong interpersonal and listening skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to multitask and handle confidential information
Problem-solving mindset with emotional maturity
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and remote communication tools (Zoom Teams Slack etc.)
Preferred Skills
Background in community advocacy counseling employee relations social work or psychology
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)
Experience in hospitality or corporate administrative services a plus
Ability to manage sensitive or emotional conversations with compassion
