Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Administrator / Remote Desktop Engineer to join our growing this role you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our companys IT infrastructure including desktops servers and network systems. You will also be responsible for providing remote desktop support to our employees and clients.
This remote position is open to U.S.-based candidates only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain hardware and software systems including desktops laptops servers and network equipment
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Manage user accounts and permissions including creating and revoking access as needed
- Provide remote desktop support to employees and clients resolving technical issues and providing guidance on software and hardware usage
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvements to the companys IT systems
- Ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems by implementing and maintaining security protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
- Assist with the procurement and installation of new hardware and software systems
- Train and educate employees on best practices for using company technology and systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Proficient in networking protocols and troubleshooting network issues
- Familiarity with remote desktop software such as TeamViewer or Remote Desktop Connection
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A Network or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate are a plus

Pay Rate: $48 per hour
Training Pay: $30 per hour (1-week paid training)
Training Bonus: $500 incentive upon completion
Work Schedule: Flexible Full-time (3040 hrs/week) or Part-time (20 hrs/week)
Work Type: 100% Remote (U.S.-based only)
