RFNOW Inc. is seeking applications from motivatedindividuals to join our Construction and Maintenance Team. As our Heavy Duty Mechanic you willhave the opportunity to be part of a growing team of technicians working tomaintain all of our medium and heavy-duty construction equipment throughout theyear. You will be responsible for maintaining repairing and overhauling heavy-duty vehicles andequipment ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. You will work on avariety of machinery including plows drills hoes and trucks. This role will be ideal for a responsible independent andself-motivated mechanic who gets excited about being challenged withon-the-spot repairs at various field locations.

General Responsibilities

Inspection & Diagnosis:

Conduct routine inspections of heavy machinery and vehicles.

Diagnose mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues.

Maintenance & Repair:

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on engines transmissionsbrakes and other systems.

Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and diagnosticequipment.

Travel to various remote sitesto accomplish field repairs on occasion

Overhaul:

Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment engines and components.

Rebuild hydraulic systems and related components.

Record Keeping:

Develop and maintain routine and preventative maintenance schedules

Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed.

Assist in maintaining inventory of parts and supplies.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workingenvironment.

Participate in safety training and keep up with industry standards.

Teamwork

Communicate clearly withmechanical technicians and other team members providing support services duringrepair operations

Share knowledge and traintechnicians and other support staff members as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Journeyman Ticket as HeavyDuty Mechanic preferred proficiency in mechanical hydraulic and electricalsystems
• 3-5 years experience withheavy equipment repair in a similar position
• ValidClass 5 Drivers License is required Class 3 License would be an asset.
• Excellent problem-solving trouble-shootingand analytical skills
• Proficient in using hand and power toolsdiagnostic equipment and software
• Excellent written and spokencommunication skills
• Proven ability to workindependently with minimal supervision
• Keen interest to learn anddevelop new skills and keep up with advancing technology

Requirements:

• Thisposition typically involves working in a garage or shop setting with exposureto various weather conditions and noise levels.
• Abilityto lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more with assistance) and performphysically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working in various environments including outdoorsand in confined spaces.

Job Details:

• General hours of work: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
