RQ09700 - Sr. Systems Testing/QA Specialist

Toronto (St. Clair W) - Hybrid - Candidate MUST work 2 days onsite and 3 days remote

Contract 5 months possible extension

To respond to the priorities of the Government of Ontario through the passage of the Bill 5 Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act 2025 the resource may be partially assigned to Bill 5 related projects or initiatives on an as needed basis.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability performance and security of IT systems.
This individual provides expert guidance on testing strategies tools and resource planning and leads the execution of comprehensive testing efforts across both GUI and non-GUI environments.
Responsibilities include the development and execution of test plans test cases and automation scripts as well as collaboration with project stakeholders throughout the system development lifecycle.

Must-Haves:

5 years of experience in system testing across enterprise IT projects.
Skilled in Agile testing SDLC and QA methodologies tools and processes.
Proficient in creating and executing Test Strategies Test Plans and Test Cases.
Experienced in workflow-based application testing (IBM BAW) and migration projects.
Strong background in Security Access Control and backend database testing.
Skilled in Test Case Execution Defect Triaging and Defect Logging.
Well-versed in documenting UAT artifacts including test cases execution results and findings.
AODA and WCAG
Skilled in API testing using REST and SOAP.
Proficient in Azure DevOps
