Job Summary
HCA Florida Northside Hospital is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our cardiothoracic team.
Surgery inpatient and outpatient setting to include: operating room CVICU pre and postoperative care and outpatient clinic.
Monday Friday schedule plus night and weekends with call
First assist required for all cardiac and thoracic procedures with EVH proficiency
1:3 weekend call rotation with call pay
Independence to cover inpatient consults CVICU set-down and clinic daily.
ACLS BLS and DEA required.
FL state license
PA or NP with first assist
Independent patient management based on physical exam lab results and diagnostic testing to diagnose and treat according to evidence-based medical practice.
Conducts and participates in multidisciplinary rounds.
Procedures to include: chest tube placement central line placement arterial line placement
