Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Estimator Commercial Landscape Installation
Location: Frederick County MD
Overview:Our client is a leading full-service commercial landscape company and is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join its team. This individual will bring deep construction knowledge strong analytical abilities and a collaborative approach to developing accurate and competitive project estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviews project plans specifications and related documents to develop detailed cost estimates.
Identifies labor material and time requirements based on blueprints and proposals.
Participates in meetings with clients architects and engineers to clarify scope and refine estimates.
Prepares cost summaries and delivers findings to both internal stakeholders and clients.
Works closely with project managers engineers and internal teams to ensure estimates support project goals and timelines.
Maintains a database of historical cost data for reference in future projects.
Evaluates cost-saving opportunities and recommends budget-optimization strategies.
Keeps up to date with industry trends and market changes to ensure estimations remain competitive and accurate.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).
At least 7 years of experience in construction estimating with a history of successful project execution.
In-depth knowledge of construction methods materials and best practices.
Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
Proficient in industry-standard estimation tools such as Bluebeam PlanSwift or similar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
