To help deliver on this mission we are seeking a Senior Associate to develop breakthrough campaigns to drive member engagement in our Medicaid portfolio. This role is ideal for a strategic marketer who deeply understands Medicaid programs and how to develop campaign strategies that deliver results in a fast-paced and regulated environment.

This position will reside within the Marketing Organization which is part of the broader Enterprise Growth team. They will extensively collaborate with the following partners: Market Presidents Consumer Insights and Analytics Lifecycle Marketing Marketing Operations and Marketing Data and Technology.

Role Responsibilities

As a key member of Humanas Product Marketing team you will drive product marketing and member engagement strategies for our Medicaid offerings.

  • Support the development of marketing strategies and campaigns for Medicaid and Healthy Horizons programs.

  • Collaborate with Product Brand Compliance and Community Engagement teams to ensure messaging is accurate accessible and culturally appropriate.

  • Assist in the creation of member-facing materials and digital content tailored to Medicaid audiences.

  • Monitor campaign performance and member engagement metrics to inform optimization.

  • Stay current on Medicaid regulations and market trends to support strategic planning.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Public Health Communications or related field.

  • 4 years of experience in healthcare marketing preferably with Medicaid or government programs.

  • Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations CMS guidelines member engagement strategies and culturally competent communication practices.

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Product Compliance Community Engagement and Legal.

  • Experience developing member-facing materials and digital content tailored to underserved populations.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and audience sensitivity.

Preferred:

  • Masters degree in Marketing Communications or Business / Healthcare Administration.

  • Experience working with state Medicaid agencies managed care organizations (MCOs) or CMS.

  • Background in multicultural marketing health literacy or community outreach.

Additional Information

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees ability to work effectively the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

  • At minimum a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

  • Satellite cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

  • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California Illinois Montana or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills knowledge experience education certifications etc.


$94900 - $130500 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
