Description:
The Senior Accountant (Budget) will be responsible for leading the budgeting process monitoring
financial performance and delivering insights to supportcompanys strategic objectives. This role
includes preparing and managing budgets conducting variance analysis and ensuring accuracy
and compliance with financial reports to the executive management.
Responsibilities:
1. prepare and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
2. Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with department heads.
3. Work closely with project managers & department heads to align budgets with operational
needs.
4. Prepare detailed financial reports including cost summaries and variance analysis.
5. Track & manage fixed and variable costs to maintain budgetary discipline.
6. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory standards.
7. conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted figures.
8. provide require financial reports to executive management.
9. Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
10. Prepare cost projections.
11. Analyze and report on current financial status.
12. Conduct thorough research of historical financial data.
13. Coordinate with the CEO and the executive team on long-term financial planning.
14. Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement.
15. Participate in preparing the annual budget based on discussion with other related
departments (for departments and projects).
16. Review accounting transactions for data accuracy.
17. Establish financial policies.
18. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.
19. Other duties as assigned.
Job Competencies:

Experience:
Min 6 years of experience.
Skills:
Advanced experience in using Dynamic 365 or similar ERP system.
High communications skills in Arabic and English including writing reports and
presentation skills.
Objective Problem Solving.
Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles and tools (IFRS) cost
accounting and management reporting.
Ability to communicate with other parties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
Specialized certification preferred qualified in IFRS or Diploma.
Specialized certifications are preferred qualified ( CPA / ACCA/CA/CMA).
