Job Summary
The Cost Analyst is responsible for managing product costing inventory control and financial reporting across manufacturing operations. This role supports senior finance leadership and collaborates with plant teams auditors and cross-functional departments to ensure accuracy compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate costing for all manufacturing plants
- Reconcile and adjust CO RO PO DO MO transactions
- Allocate cost variances and goods in transit
- Maintain inventory and expense codes in ERP systems
- Review and activate new products and BOMs
- Prepare monthly cost sheets gross margin and cost of goods analysis
- Conduct inventory reconciliations and physical counts
- Support budgeting audits and compliance documentation
- Validate savings from production and R&D
- Lead or support process improvements and system implementations
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting finance or budgeting in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of BOI/NON-BOI practices and inventory systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (preferably AS400 and Movex M3)
- Strong analytical communication and interpersonal skills
