Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Intern you will:
- Receive training mentorship and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced managers
- Grow your expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas.
- Experience challenging assignments in the power generation industry focusing on areas related to Nuclear Quality Assurance Program implementation for SMR projects.
- Perform assessments of project quality assurance requirements to established GEH procedures and instructions
- Develop project quality assurance plans
- Conduct project quality oversight through the performance of quality surveillances.
- Assess supplier capabilities and participate in supplier inspection activities
- Apply engineering and Lean principles to continuous improvement projects with cross-functional organizations
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects share insights and contribute to problem solving discussions.
Required Qualifications & Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline as listed below.
- Following majors accepted: Engineering Management Industrial Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Nuclear Engineering Systems Engineering or other related discipline.
- Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to work in Markham ON and Darlington New Nuclear Project site.
- Must be available for a 12-month co-op program starting Summer 2026.

- Eager to learn new technology and skillsets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio etc.).
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Previous Co-op/internship experience in Nuclear Industry is an asset.
- Experience in heavy industrial fabrication (Welding Forming Assembly and Testing)
- Mechanical or Electrical Inspection experience
- Previous Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience
