Your contribution will be
- Designing conducting and/or mentoring scientific projects and research (including literature research data analysis and statistical interpretation )
- work directly focused on animal welfare science as well as on understanding human behaviour and attitudes towards animals.
- Supervision of students and interns
- Evaluating trends and developments in relevant Animal Welfare topics with Focus on Wild Animals topics
- Creating advising on and contributing robustly referenced and data-driven insights (e.g. Reports) and advising/conducting science communication
- Consulting and advising investigations and public opinion polling based on their strategical relevance
- Producing relevant documentation for strategic planning reporting and evaluation
Your profile ideally illustrates
- Masters degree or PhD of the following or related disciplines: Wildlife Biology Animal Welfare Science Psychology Sociology
- experience in wildlife behaviour research
- Understanding of social science approaches
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistics
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
- Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
