Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and strategically minded Manager who can operationalize strategy and manage execution for Compliance Strategy and Operations (S&O) with experience building and scaling compliance programs. The Manager Compliance Governance & Program Management will play a critical role in strengthening the Compliance organizations governance framework program execution and strategic initiatives. This individual will support the design and operation of compliance management routines facilitate cross-functional workstreams and drive effective communication and reporting across stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses strong program management analytical and writing skills coupled with compliance risk management and governance principles experience. This role does not have direct reports but will be supported by a Senior Analyst and will work closely with the Senior Manager of Global Compliance Strategy and Operations Program Management. The successful candidate is willing to work hands-on to drive key initiatives across compliance operational risk management and audit functions works well in a team dynamic to ensure the seamless execution of complex high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance & Oversight:
    Support the execution and continuous enhancement of compliance governance routines including leadership meetings reporting cycles and committee deliverables.
  • Program Management Office (PMO):
    Track and manage progress across compliance initiatives ensuring milestones dependencies and deliverables are met in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Strategic Program Execution:
    Support the operationalization of complex compliance programs and transformation initiatives ensuring alignment to enterprise frameworks timelines and quality standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Coordinate across compliance risk legal and business partners to drive execution issue resolution and clear communication of priorities and outcomes.
  • Communication & Reporting:
    Develop high-quality materials for senior leadership and board reporting including executive summaries dashboards and program updates.
  • Risk Management:
    Understand and apply compliance risk management principles to ensure governance processes and programs are effective sustainable and aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Hands-on Execution:

Roll up your sleeves to handle day-today compliance tasks while building scalable processes

Produce quality work products independently and collectively with team members

Qualifications:
Education & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of compliance risk management enterprise risk management operational risk management or audit experience within a regulated financial service or FinTech environment
  • Deep understanding of Risk Control Self-Assessment Control Testing frameworks risk assurance methodologies and regulatory expectations.
  • Advance proficiency with GRC platforms (preferably ServiceNow and Archer) and experience managing risk data lifecycle activities
  • Strong writing presentation and documentation skills with an ability to translate technical findings into actionable business insights
  • Consistently delivers high-quality and timely work with attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Experience with business transformation regulatory remediation or change management initiatives as a result of strategic regulatory risk-related technological or operational evolutions
  • Is intellectually curious learns and adapts to the business provides insight solutions as well as information
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically strategically analytically and to creatively problem solve
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in driving positive and sustained change
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • High sense of ownership adaptability flexibility and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Professional demeanor excellent interpersonal skills capable of working with all levels of internal and external staff including regulators and collaborating across large organizations
  • Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive workspace
  • Ability to work in a team dynamic
  • Proficient in Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Teams Microsoft Office Suite Visio and Power BI

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Masters degree in business administration (MBA) Project Management Engineering Management or a related field
  • Certification in risk management or financial analysis (FRM PMI-RMP CFA etc.)
  • Prior consulting experience in Compliance Advisory Risk Management or Audit
