iQuasar LLC is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer who can help us build operate and maintain high-performance scalable and reliable services for platforms products and deployments. As a Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer we will be developing software and providing high-quality support for software systems that are critical to solving our governments greatest challenges.

Position Title: Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Washington DC (HYBRID)
Clearance: Top Secret or higher

Duties and Responsibilities

Handle support and operations of software including monitoring and alerting configuration management and upgrades
Deploy new products at customer deployments and perform migrations to the latest infrastructure types
Debug improve and optimize services and infrastructure with a focus on long-term reliability and scalability
Reduce manual operations and automate workflows processes and/or runbooks where possible
Provide technical troubleshooting support for production issues ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
Participate in a support on-call schedule.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

1 - 3 years of experience in a relevant software engineering or infrastructure role.
Candidates should have hands-on system architecture experiencewhether through cloud computing (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) on-premises systems or container technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes)
Experience with large-scale production systems and technologies that require load balancing monitoring distributed systems or configuration management.
Experience with containerized applications specifically in Kubernetes.
Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and responsibility in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users.
Active Top Secret clearance or above is required.
