Accounts Payable Associate

The Squarespace Finance team is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to help ensure accuracy and efficiency across our financial operations. You will manage vendor relationships improve payment processes and help maintain the integrity of our systems through automation and continuous improvement. Youll collaborate with Accounting FP&A and other partners to support daily operations and process enhancements.

This is a hybrid role working from our NYC office 2-3 days per week. You will report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Youll Get To...

• Process and review invoices within an electronic purchase orderbacked system while ensuring accuracy and controlling expenses
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries
• Complete reconciliations for credit cards bank accounts merchant deposits and intercompany billing
• Support month-end close reporting needs and continuous improvement plans
• Help refine Accounts Payable workflows and identify opportunities for automation

Who Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• 2 years of accounting or finance experience preferably in Accounts Payable
• Strong Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with NetSuite Kyriba or Coupa is a plus
• Understanding of basic accounting principles; international exposure a plus
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships manage multiple priorities and identify challenges

Cash Compensation Range: $64500 - $103500 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills experience and location among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and where applicable for eligible roles may include on-target commissions or overtime pay) Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
