Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) is committed to protecting the public by providing safe and effective individualized services to youth who will become productive law-abiding citizens. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Coordinator 4 to support business operations with a focus on property control and asset management. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records coordinating procurement and transfers and ensuring compliance with state property regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills a working knowledge of state systems and a commitment to operational excellence in a mission-driven environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of experience or training in clerical work.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Oversee property control functions including tagging tracking and reconciling agency assets

  • Maintain inventory records in accordance with the Louisiana Property Assistance Agency (LPAA) guidelines

  • Coordinate equipment transfers disposals and surplus documentation

  • Assist with purchasing receiving and invoice processing for facility operations

  • Prepare reports and audits related to property and asset management

  • Collaborate with facility staff regional business offices and central administration to ensure compliance

  • Support general administrative tasks including filing data entry and correspondence

  • Serve as a liaison for property-related inquiries and audits

Appointment Type:Full-time Probational


The incumbent of this position must not have been convicted or pled nolo contendere to a crime listed in R.S. 15.587.1 (c).
