Work youll do

Deloittes Financial Services industry group strives to support clients in addressing the challenges that impact todays industry. Our member firms global network engages with clients to refine their business models through innovative practices improved processes and enabling information technologies.

You will work alongside our clients to help them make decisions and implement solutions based on Heart of the Business issues and problem statements from architecting the strategic transformation agenda through to driving business value through execution and implementation.

You will work across all key segments within banking (retail SME wholesale and wealth) and drive the latest and best-in-class transformation narrative for our banking sector clients across SEA. Typical engagements which you could be involved in include:

• Front office / sales and service transformation
• Omni-channel customer journey and experience design
• Operating model transformation
• Digital enablement and platform implementation

You will support Deloitte and clients business growth by contributing to the technical delivery of lending projects focusing on the design development integration and deployment of loan origination and loan servicing systems. This role requires strong technical skills a collaborative approach and the ability to learn new platforms and technologies as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and integrate lending systems ensuring solutions meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Support system configuration customization and development activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to resolve problems efficiently.
• Participate in system testing quality assurance and validation to ensure successful deployment and user acceptance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including configuration guides deployment instructions and support materials.
• Collaborate with business analysts project managers and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve technical challenges.
• Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for implemented lending systems addressing user queries and system incidents.
• Stay updated on relevant technologies and industry trends; be open to training in specific platforms such as FIS as part of professional development.

Requirements

If you are someone with:

• Tertiary qualification in a business actuarial finance or technology discipline
• Currently enrolled in an MBA program or have obtained the qualification with a well ranked institution
• Minimum 6-8 years of working experience in the Consulting Industry and/or Financial Services Industry Banking Institutions
• Knowledge of Southeast Asia market the core trends and drivers with proficiency in articulating regulatory economic technological and business impacts on key institutions
• Experience in software development system integration or application support for lending systems within banking or financial services.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages frameworks and integration approaches used in lending or financial platforms (e.g. Java).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Effective communication skills for working with technical and non-technical team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing project needs.
• Experience supporting or implementing loan origination or loan servicing systems.
• Knowledge of general ledger (GL) integration and financial reconciliation as they relate to lending systems.
• Familiarity with digital transformation automation and industry-specific lending platforms (e.g. FIS Finastra).
• Exposure to payment processing AI and risk management as they specifically relate to lending operations.
• Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence).
• Experience with system testing quality assurance and technical documentation.
• Prior FIS experience is a plus.
