The ideal candidate should have a passion for travel a deep understanding of marine travel and excellent customer service skills. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals.
The Marine Travel Consultant is required to deliver travel booking and ticketing services to support seamless crew changes. The Marine Travel Consultant is responsible for booking pricing and ticketing crew tickets. This position will report to Head - Operations & Client Management.
The position is responsible for performing the following activities:
- Crew-change travel itineraries & ticketing.
- Prepares travel itineraries according to crew change schedules and immigration policies.
- Creates changes refunds issues PNRs in GDS.
- Manages non-GDS and other ancillary products where needed
- Complies to strict data privacy protection and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- Proficiency in using travel management technologies GDS Amadeus preferred Experienced in handling multi-national crew. Experience handling Filipino and Indian crew is an advantage along with European crew
- Good knowledge on European sectors along with other markets like Asia & Americas.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing marine travel.
- Experience using COMPAS or similar crew management tools is an advantage Willing to work in shifts
- Good proficiency in English both oral and written.
- IATA certified
