The nurse will assist school nurses throughout the district in the delivery of nursing care to meet the health care needs of all students especially those with complex health care needs. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with DESE mandated screening and field trip nurse coverage. Nursing care can be delivered inside or outside of the classroom or in the health office. The nurse may be assigned to any school as a float nurse or as a field trip nurse. Minimum of Bachelors degree in Nursing required. Minimum of 1-2 years experience in school health public health or pediatric nursing is Beverly Teachers Association Unit A collective bargaining agreement and is commensurate with experience and education.
