Job Summary
Job Title: Maintenance Technician High Voltage Electrician
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced High Voltage Electrician to manage preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repair operations for high-pressure electrical networks and associated protection and measurement systems across multiple maintenance stations. The ideal candidate must be technically sound safety-focused and experienced in high-voltage environments preferably with international work exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-pressure and high-voltage networks including transformers switchgears and circuit breakers.
Inspect test and maintain protection and metering devices such as relays sensors and fault indicators.
Supervise and coordinate operations at multiple maintenance stations (up to 48) ensuring uninterrupted electrical supply.
Diagnose faults in high-voltage systems and execute repairs with minimal downtime.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across the network.
Maintain records of maintenance schedules inspection reports and work completed.
Ensure compliance with local and international electrical safety regulations and standards.
Coordinate with engineering teams and third-party vendors for major overhauls or system upgrades.
Provide emergency support and quick response in the event of electrical failures or incidents.
Essential Qualifications:
Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering or High Voltage Systems (mandatory).
Certifications in High Voltage Operations / Electrical Safety (preferred).
Minimum 7 years of experience in high-voltage maintenance and repair with overseas project exposure.
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of high-voltage protection systems electrical schematics and single-line diagrams.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing transformers relays and control panels.
Familiarity with SCADA systems relay coordination and testing equipment.
Ability to manage multiple maintenance stations and remote troubleshooting.
Proficiency in safety protocols for working in high-voltage and high-pressure environments.
Excellent communication reporting and team coordination skills.
