Role and responsibilities

PromotetherightsofIDPs/returneesinlinewiththeadvocacystrategy.
ContributewithEducationCCspecifictechnicalcompetencetoprogrammedevelopment adjustment or review
ConductEducationCCspecifictechnicalassessmentandpresentrecommendations
ProvideEducationCCspecifictechnicalinputtocoordinationmechanisms(e.g.cluster coordination) and working groups as per the request of the Education PM
Ensureregularandconsistentinformationflowwithintheteamandwiththelinemanager including regular reporting and updates.
Specificresponsibilities:
ThefollowingoutlinesdetailedresponsibilitieswiththeunderstandingthatadjustmentstotheSouthArea Offices education intervention may imply consequent changes. The incumbent is accountable for proficiently managing budgets developing financial/procurement plans and taking charge of drafting and monitoring work plans for the education team.
YOUTH
Follow up implementing partners projects on their Youth Engagement activities through the neededsupportofYouthCouncilandYouthCentresunderthesupervisionoftheEducationProject Manager
MonitorevaluateandreviewYouthProjectsincoordinationwithNRCspartnerorganisationsand under the supervision of the Education Project Manager
Contributetotheidentificationofcommunity-basedorganizations/otherlocalorganizationsfor potential education partnerships.
FORMALEDUCATION
SupporttheimplementationofNRCschoolgrants(cashandvouchers)forschoolimprovement activities under the technical management of the Education Project Manager and with the assistance of the relevant Education staff.
PlanandsupporttheimplementationoftheBLPactivitiesincludingtheBLP/PsychosocialSupport (PSS) Teacher trainings and NRC newly hired staff parent engagement;
Planandsupporttheimplementationofcatch-upactivitiesincludingactivitydesignTeacher trainings parent engagement;
PlanandprovideregulartechnicalsupporttothelocaleducationauthoritiesonBLPandPSS together with the support of the relevant staff.
To contribute to the compilation and dissemination of best practices lessons learnt recommendationsandcasestudiesfromprojectimplementationcreatingandtrackingagainsta project improvement plan.
Communicatewiththerelevantstakeholdersauthoritiesschoolheadteachersteachersand parents/guardians to ensure positive and healthy relationships.
OTHER
SupporttheeducationneedsassessmentsintheArea(elaborationplanningcoordinationwith relevant actors implementation translation as appropriate reporting);
EnsuretheprojectsupportingdocumentsarecollectedandfiledinaccordancewithNRC procedures.
Collectandanalyzequalitativeandquantitativedata.Comprehensivelypresentthedata.
SupportintranslatingdocumentsandmeetingsnotesfromEnglishtotheUkrainianlanguageas needed.
Contributetothedevelopmentoftheeducationprogrammewithtechnicalandcontextualinputs.
ContributetothedevelopmentofEducationCCstrategyLogFrame andPlanofActionwith technical and contextual inputs.
Prepareanddevelopstatusreportsasrequiredbymanagement.
Supportthedevelopmentofprocurementandfinancialplansdraftdaily/weekly/monthlywork plans and administrative tasks as needed.

Line management of the education technical assistant/s education officer/s education technical officer/stoensuretheassignedtasksandresponsibilitiesaredeliveredinatimelymannerandwith the desirable quality.
