NEW ELECTRONICS EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN IN BEDFORD
Our client a leading manufacturer based in Bedford is seeking an experienced Electronics Equipment Technician to join their Equipment Engineering this key role youll be responsible for maintaining and repairing advanced electronic processing machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. The position involves hands-on mechanical strip-downs complex fault-finding and lead repair activities working closely with engineers operators and suppliers to maximise equipment uptime and drive efficiency across high-precision fabrication processes.
Responsibilities as an ElectronicsEquipment Technician in Bedford.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to diagnose and repair PCBs at a component level.
- Provide guidance to technician-level personnel and support Manufacturing Shift Leaders.
- Experience in 6S/Kaizen methodologies is advantageous.
- Ability todocument processes and procedures to ensure information is retained and shared.
- To carry out mechanical set up and maintenance tasks.
Requirements as anElectronics Equipment Technician in Bedford.
- Minimum HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or higher
- Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or engineering environment..
