Job Summary

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Developer to support critical system operations and ensure seamless business continuity. This role involves ownership of the Pega release cycle managing data integrity and providing expert-level production support. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments takes initiative and excels in troubleshooting complex issues under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure business continuity by serving as the trusted authority for high-stakes production issue resolution including dedicated on-call weekend support.
Act as the primary contact for data integrity executing large-scale optimizations such as deleting millions of records to prevent system downtime.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to write advanced SQL queries accelerating problem resolution and reducing dependency on the database team.
Own the monthly Pega release cycle overseeing all activities from QA testing through final deployment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with QA database and infrastructure teams to maintain system performance and reliability.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

Pega Platform & Release Management: Proven experience in Pega application development case management and managing full release cycles including testing and deployment.
Database & Optimization Skills: Strong command of SQL and large-scale data operations ensuring integrity and system performance. Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot is a plus.
Production Support & Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to handle critical production incidents including availability for on-call weekend rotations.
