We are adding a Physical Design Engineer to drive RTL to GDSII implantation across advanced nodes. Focus on translating synthesis to physical layouts ensuring timing closure and constraint alignment consistently. The role is located in Dallas TX. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: - Focus to deliver synthesis through PnR with emphasis on timing analysis and constraint driven configuration
- Execute timing-driven placement and routing using Cadence Genus
- Execute timing driven PnR using Innovus
- Collaborate with IP Teams to interpret and refine timing constraints.
- Conduct Static Timing Analysis (STA) to identiy critical paths setup/hold violations and constraint bottleneck.
- Analyst the impact of timing constraints on physical configuration including congestion cell sizing and clock tree synthesis.
- Understand Timing Constraints and how the impact PD Configuration
Qualifications Minimum Requirements: - 5 - 7 years Physical Design experience preferably with complex SOC designs
- Previous Experience with: Cadence Flow tools Innovus Genus
- Strong understanding of Digital Design Flow. From RTL through physical implementation
- Hands on experience with floor planning placement CTS routing and STA.
- Familiarity with Cadence Synopsis or equivielent EDA Tools.
