The Role
TechPoint Group is now one of the largest UK-owned supply EMS and supply chain services to leading technology companies across the UK and Europe. We areopening a new world-class facility and are looking for new talented people to join us on this exciting journey.
The position is ideal for engineers who enjoy technical problem-solving customer interaction and product development support. We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background in electronics particularly those experienced in both customer support and hands-on laboratory/test work.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support for component / part selection based on customer needs and competitor comparisons
- Conduct product testing (crystal screening VCXO screening S-parameter and phase noise measurements).
- Interpret and respond to technical enquiries
- Design and optimise impedance matching networks and troubleshoot component behaviour.
- Investigate quality returns identify failure mechanisms and liaising with the customers.
- Develop demo boards maintain lab safety and equipment.
- Developing and updating automated test systems.
- Contribute to technical marketing materials and customer outreach.
About you
- Proven technical knowledge of crystal oscillator and filter components.
- Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as network analysers spectrum analysers signal generators and oscilloscopes.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electronic Engineering Physics or related field.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components especially crystals oscillators and RF filters.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and interpreting technical documentation.
- Effective communication skills for technical support and collaboration.
- Familiarity with quality assurance and failure analysis processes.
