Job Summary

Position Overview
The Workforce Career Coach assesses each scholars skill will and interests through various platforms and engagement modalitiesincluding T3s owned platform Pathways to Careers (P2C)to develop individualized career and transition plans.
This position collaborates with campus administrators workforce partners and employers to ensure students have access to the resources and support they need for career readiness credential attainment and upward mobility.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES
This position has no supervision responsibilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment Enrollment and Case Management (40%)
  • Recruit and enroll eligible high school and/or college scholars nearing graduation or completion of an industry-based credential certificate or degree.
  • Serve as the primary case manager for assigned scholars tracking progress engagement and outcomes using Salesforce and other data systems.
  • Conduct individual and group advising to assess skill will and career interests and create individualized success plans.
  • Identify and address barriers to completion or employment by connecting scholars to appropriate wraparound supports.
  • Maintain regular contact with assigned scholars through multiple engagementplatformsincluding T3s Pathways to Careers (P2C) systemusing virtual in-person text phone and email communication.
Career Readiness and Transition Support (35%)
  • Prepare scholars for career success by facilitating workshops on career exploration job readiness durable skills and professional branding.
  • Connect scholars to employment opportunities aligned with their training and credentials.
  • Coordinate with employer partners to support job placement and onboarding experiences.
  • Provide up to 90 days of post-employment support to scholars and employers to ensure retention and successful integration into the workplace.
  • Use data to identify trends successes and gaps in scholar transition outcomes.
Collaboration and Partnership Engagement (25%)
  • Build strong trusting relationships with scholars families campus staff and community partners.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations to align services that enhance scholar success.
  • Participate in school community and employer engagement events to promote workforce opportunities and T3 initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement processes through data collection feedback and participation in team meetings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in education workforce development human services or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in college career or workforce advising or case management.
  • Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience supporting students or clients in navigating career pathways or credential attainment.
  • Proficiency in data monitoring and case management tools (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Bilingual preferred.

Travel Requirements
This position requires travel throughout the DallasFort Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work at a desk and computer screen for extended periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment associated with this position varies from office settings to school campuses and community sites. Employees may also encounter periodic distractions resulting from the activities and interactions of colleagues in the vicinity while performing the essential duties of the role.
