SUMMARY:
The P&C Insurance Operations Assistant supports the daily workflow of the insurance team by entering maintaining and auditing data within agency management systems and spreadsheets. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy efficiency and consistency of policy documentation reports and other operational tasks. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into the agency management system (e.g. Epic AMS360 or similar).
- Maintain and update policy client and carrier information across multiple systems.
- Create organize and manage Excel spreadsheets used for tracking renewals policy issuance premium allocations certificates and claims activity.
- Assist in data audits and report generation to support operational initiatives and management reporting.
- Support team members by preparing summaries schedules and reports as requested.
- Assist with account reconciliations document uploads and other administrative duties related to policy management.
- Identify and communicate data inconsistencies system errors or opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all company and regulatory data standards.
- Provide general administrative support to Operations Account Management and Leadership teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
- 13 years of administrative data entry or insurance operations experience (insurance industry experience preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas filters pivot tables and data validation).
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with insurance terminology and agency management systems (a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
