Community Property Manager Hawthorne (Part-Time)
Location: Hawthorne CA
Pay & Housing: $18.00/hour Discounted 1 bed unit
Schedule: Part-Time 18 - 20 Hours per Week
Note: This position has a strong potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and property needs.
About the Role
Were looking for a dependable and proactive Community Property Manager to oversee a small apartment community in Hawthorne CA. The ideal candidate is self-motivated organized and enjoys balancing customer service with the operational side of property management. Youll handle leasing resident relations compliance and property upkeep to ensure a smooth well-maintained community.
What Youll Do
- Oversee daily property operations and resident relations
- Market the property lease vacant units and pre-lease upcoming vacancies
- Approve move-in files and ensure units are turned within 35 business days
- Process rent collections delinquencies and invoices in Yardi
- Serve 3-day notices and issue resident communications as needed
- Conduct daily property inspections to ensure clean and safe conditions
- Submit monthly market surveys and updates to Regional Supervisor
- Ensure all operations comply with Fair Housing and local landlord/tenant laws
- Attend legal proceedings and required training sessions
- Respond to on-call emergencies and maintain property standards
- Support Regional Supervisor with reports and operational goals
What You Bring
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook Excel Word and Teams
- Strong leasing ability and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Requirements
- Yardi Voyager experience
- Some property management experience (Assistant or Onsite Manager level)
- Familiarity with Affordable Housing or Fair Housing regulations
