Job Overview:

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand awareness engagement and customer acquisition in the Thai market. This role requires a deep understanding of all major social media platforms content trends audience behavior and performance analytics. The candidate will also oversee the media production process from start to finish including strategy scripting storyboarding and briefing the Design and Motion teams. They will manage daily and take full responsibility end to end for social media operations

Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement data-driven social media strategies tailored to the Thai market.
  • Create and manage content calendars ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns seasonal trends and business goals.
  • Identify and leverage emerging social media trends tools and best practices to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives ensuring consistent branding and messaging.

2. Content Development & Community Management

  • Oversee the creation of engaging high-quality content (posts videos stories reels and live broadcasts) across Facebook Instagram TikTok YouTube LINE Threads and other relevant platforms.
  • Ensure all content is localized and culturally relevant to the Thai audience.
  • Manage social media interactions responding to comments messages and customer inquiries promptly.
  • Engage with the community by fostering discussions running interactive activities and enhancing brand trust.
  • Collaborate with influencers partners and third-party agencies to drive brand exposure.

3. Media Production Oversight

  • Strategic Content Planning: Develop creative content strategies based on campaign objectives and audience insights.
  • Scriptwriting & Storyboarding: Write compelling scripts and create detailed storyboards for social media videos ads and campaign visuals.
  • Briefing & Coordination: Provide clear and structured design briefs to the Design and Motion teams ensuring content aligns with campaign goals.
  • End-to-End Content Execution: Manage media production from ideation to final delivery ensuring quality and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Operational Leadership: Take full responsibility for social media operations end to end

4. Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Track measure and analyze social media performance using key analytics tools.
  • Generate reports with actionable insights to improve engagement reach and conversion rates.
  • Optimize campaigns based on data-driven results and audience behavior analysis.
  • Conduct A/B testing on content captions posting times and ad formats to maximize effectiveness.
  • Monitor competitors social media activities and adjust strategies accordingly.

5. Paid Media & Campaign Execution

  • Plan and execute paid social media campaigns across various platforms ensuring high ROI and cost efficiency.
  • Work with Media Buying teams to strategize budget allocation and audience targeting.
  • Optimize ad creatives formats and placements based on campaign performance.

6. Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor a junior social media specialist ensuring growth and skill development.
  • Work closely with Content Creation Design Motion Translation Project Coordination Partnerships and other related teams to align strategies.
  • Assist superiors with strategic initiatives and special projects related to social media growth and engagement.
  • Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions to the marketing team on emerging social media trends and platform updates.

7. Research & Trend Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth research on Thai social media usage trends consumer behavior and platform updates.
  • Identify new growth opportunities through innovative social media formats and viral marketing techniques.
  • Keep up-to-date with local and global competitors social media strategies.

8. KPI Achievement & Cost Efficiency

  • Achieve and exceed engagement growth and conversion KPIs.
  • Ensure cost-efficiency in paid social media campaigns.
  • Regularly re-evaluate and optimize strategies to maximize ROI.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in Social Media Marketing Digital Marketing or related fields preferably in the Thai market.
  • Deep understanding of Facebook Instagram TikTok YouTube LINE Threads and other relevant platforms.
  • Strong experience in content planning campaign execution and analytics.
  • Ability to create engaging and localized content strategies for the Thai audience.
  • Expertise in media production from strategy scripting and storyboarding to execution.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage daily operations when needed.
  • SEO & SEM knowledge for content optimization.
  • Paid social media advertising expertise including audience segmentation and performance tracking.
  • Excellent communication copywriting and storytelling skills. Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Digital Media or related field. Preferred: Previous experience as a Social Media Specialist and in creative marketing campaigns is strongly preferred especially in the financial industry or advertising agencies.
