Enterprise Security Architect / Consultant
About the client:
Our client is a major organisation seeking to strengthen its cyber security posture across enterprise and cloud environments. This role is pivotal in delivering strategic and technical security architecture services that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Security Architect/Consultant to provide expert guidance on secure architecture design cloud security assessments and ICT security strategy development. Youll work closely with stakeholders to review and design secure solutions assess cloud security and develop comprehensive security strategies for complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed security architecture reviews for new and existing capabilities ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance requirements.
Perform security assessments for cloud-based capabilities (AWS Azure GCP) evaluating configurations and controls.
Develop and implement comprehensive ICT security strategies that address business objectives and emerging threats.
Deliver cyber security advisory and consultancy services including solution design risk assessments and compliance reviews.
Engage with business ICT and security teams to ensure architectural designs meet operational and security needs.
Produce high-quality architecture diagrams assessment reports and strategic documentation.
Stay current with emerging technologies security trends and regulatory changes.
Required Experience:
Significant experience in enterprise and cloud security architecture within complex ICT environments.
Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks (SABSA TOGAF) and security standards (ISO 27001 NIST ISM CIS Controls).
Expertise in cloud security for AWS Azure and/or GCP including assessment tools and methodologies.
Experience developing and implementing ICT security strategies in enterprise or government contexts.
Relevant certifications (SABSA TOGAF CISSP CCSP AWS Certified Security Specialty Azure Security Engineer Associate or equivalent) highly desirable.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Must hold (or be eligible for) Australian Government NV1 security clearance.
